Asoka Ayurveda pharmacy was established in the city of Thrissur, in 1940 by Vaidyakalanidhi MKK Panikker DIMS. We have engaged in the practice of traditional Ayurvedic medicinal treatments for the past 80 years.

Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. We have followed the two main sorts of treatments called Samana chikitsa and Shodhana chikitsa inherited from our founder Vaidyakalanidhi MKK Panikker who later passed on his valuable knowledge through the generations to our current doctors Dr B. Jayakrishnan and Dr J Lakshmi.

While samana chikitsa involves various drugs being administered to the patient to bring down their deranged doshas, Shodhana chikitsa involves removal of excess doshas in the body causing diseases by means of Panchakarma.
